What's to get excited about!

Following on from our hugely popular football-themed visit to Spain in 2026, we are offering a similar-style holiday again, but this time in Italy!

It is widely regarded that Italy does 3 things better than any other country in the world; the three F’s; Food, Fashion & Football. Well, we’ll be experiencing a little of all three, (but predominately football!), as we base our 7-day itinerary around the beautiful game.

We’ll begin our week by flying to Rome. Italy’s capital city and home to the 70,000 capacity Stadio Olimpico (Olympic Stadium), home to both AS Roma and Lazio. One of our days will be solely dedicated to visiting this breathtaking stadium, with a guided tour and a visit to its football museum. However, there is no way we can travel to this stunning city without discovering a little more of what Rome has to offer, where history greets you at every turn. So whilst there we shall be visiting the world famous Roman Colleseum, the Roman Forum, aswell as Palatine Hill, often referred to as the birthplace of Rome. But this is just the start of our week!

The second leg of our trip will see us take the leisurely 3-hour train journey north to Milan, allowing us to sit back in our reserved seats and take in the scenery. Milan is the fashion capital of the world and oozes style, yet is also the home to Italy’s largest football stadium, the San Siro. Home to footballing royalty by way of both AC and Inter Milan, it holds 75,000 spectators and again we’ll be gaining entry and shown around courtesy of an organised tour. We will also have a day exploring this fascinating city with a trip to the magnificent Leonardi de Vinci Science Museum incorporated, named after the famous Renaissance artist, scientist, and inventor.

Oh, and they’ll be food too. Wonderful, glorious Italian food!

Where you'll be staying...

In both cities, we shall be staying in hotels. Firstly in Rome, at the Hotel Delle Muse, a quiet, family-run hotel where each room is equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen satellite TVs, as well as private bathrooms. Set in one of Rome’s most elegant residential areas, it is just minutes from the city centre.

Then in Milan, we’ll be resting at the modern Idea Hotel Milano, where again, all the amenities you’d expect from a 4* hotel are included in each room. It’s located just 4 miles from the San Siro Stadium and with good transport links allowing us to explore the city freely.

Food, glorious food!

Breakfasts are included at both our hotels in Rome and Milan. In Rome we shall also be using the hotel for our evening meals. All lunches plus our evening meals in Milan will be taken outside of our accommodation, allowing us to choose from the multiple options available so that we can savour even more of the culinary delights that Italy is so famous for.

Travel

We will meet at a London airport and you will be supported on the flight to Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport in Rome. Our return flight will see us return to London from the Milan Malpensa Airport. Internal travel shall see you fully supported through a mixture of trains and local trams.

Itineray

Day 1 – Flight from London to Rome, travel to our accommodation via the local tram system and settle in.

Day 2 – A guided tour taking us to the Colleseum Arena floor, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill.

Day 3 – Stadio Olimpico Stadium Visit with a guided tour and visit to its football museum.

Day 4 – Rest Day – A day with no fixed schedule, allowing us to rest a little and decide between us how we’d like to spend the day.

Day 5 – Travel to Milan. A short bus ride to the station, followed by a 3 hour train journey, then tram to our hotel where we shall settle in.

Day 6 – Guided tour of the San Siro Stadium.

Day 7 – Sight seeing in Milan, icluding a visit to the Leonardi de Vinci Science Museum.

Day 8 – Travel back to the UK.
