The Best of Spain

We have mixed up some of the activities from the Great Adventure and Discover the Beauty of Spain holidays to give those a holiday who wish to partake in a few adventurous activities combined with some visits in Galicia.

Your holiday will include. Visiting the town of Santiago de Compostela and of course the famous cathedral that is reputed to house the remains of James the Great Apostle. The cathedral is also the end of the famous pilgrim route Camino de Santiago (Way of St. James), which you will walk the last few kilometres to get a sense of how the pilgrims feel.

A trip to the north coast, taking in Finisterre and the Costa da Morte. We will spend time near the famous Dunas de Corrubedo, with a surfing lesson and a hike along the rugged coastline from the nearby lighthouse into the Corrubedo fishing harbour. This tiny corner of Spain will feel like home after your holiday. To top off this great mix of adventure and tourism, a kayaking trip around the small island of Arousa. You can do some snorkelling too if you wish. The Best of is chance to rest and play, the Spanish Way!

We will be staying in the coastal, sleepy town of Corrubedo, an hour from Santiago de Compostela, in a large 8-bedroom, three floored house called ‘The Beach House’, situated metres from the golden sandy beach and the Dunes of Corrubedo, a nature reserve.

This house has stunning coastal and ocean views from the second floor.

We will be fully catered for by our very own Go Beyond Chef.

We will meet at a London Airport and you will be supported on the flight to Santiago de Compostela Airport in Galicia, Spain.

Our mini-buses will take you on the 1 hour drive from the airport to The Beach House.

We will spend every day exploring different parts of the Galician region, but there will also be chance to relax at The Beach House, with a rest day, and also in the mornings and evenings, with games and engaging conversation.

We will enjoy tasty breakfasts, healthy picnics for lunch and hearty dinners in the evenings, a balanced menu catering to your dietary requirements.

Your holiday will include the following:

• 7 night accommodation with breakfast.
• All lunches and restaurant meals.

• Return flight from London to Santiago de Compostela, accompanied and supported by our Go Beyond team.
• A ratio of 2 guests to 1 Go Beyond support staff member.
