When we think of Poland what do we think of? Chopin? John–Paul II? Vodka?
Well, we would like to take you on a journey of discovery into one of Poland’s most famous cities, Krakow. This beautiful city is situated on the mighty Vistula River, in the south of Poland, near the Czech Republic border.
Krakow is known for its beautiful and well-preserved historic centre, consisting of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture. The historic centre, which includes the Old Town and the Main Market Square, was included as the first of its kind on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1978.
On this memorable trip you will cruise along the Vistula, explore the old town and discover Wawal Castle.
No trip to this part of Poland would be complete without visiting the sombre site of Auschwitz, the former concentration camp and now a museum acting as a symbol of the Holocaust.
We will also visit Oskar Schindler’s famous Enamel Factory, the factory that saved 1200 workers from being sent to the concentration camps. Come and joins us in this wonderous place, steeped in rich history and most certainly, a place you’ll never forget!
The Hotel Galicya in Krakow provides comfort and relaxation in a great location close to all of Krakow’s attractions. Also known for it’s super friendly staff who always have a smile for you.
The elegant Galicya Restaurant invites you on a culinary journey through the flavours of Europe and old Polish cuisine in a modern setting.
