NORTHERN IRISH STORIES – NEW FOR 2026!
Go Beyond’s Titanic Irish Adventure
16th – 23rd June 2026
What's to get excited about!
Every place has a story, Northern Ireland has many. This trip will immerse you in stories of old, modern and ancient cultures as we invite you to come with us and delve deep to discover them for yourselves, whilst creating your own stories and memories along the way. From the phenomenon of Game of Thrones, a power struggle story between noble families, to the famous Titanic, a watery tale that still captivates people young and old. Plus, no visit to Northern Ireland would be complete without witnessing the deep, time story that is the magnificent Giant’s Causeway.
We will be based on the north coast of Northern Ireland at The Downhill Beach House, an hour’s drive from Belfast and just minutes away from Derry. Our itinerary will include a ‘Game of Thrones Iron Islands’ tour where we’ll be taking in some of the locations where the series was shot, as well as Mussenden Temple, another location from the acclaimed TV series.
Indeed, to really understand the history of the attractions we’ll be visiting, we will be utilising the expert knowledge of tour guides on many of our days out. This includes around the Giant’s Causeway at the most northern tip of the country - the world famous UNESCO World Heritage site. And also when we visit the ‘Titanic Belfast’ museum where we will hear the story of Titanic from her conception, through her construction and launch, to her maiden voyage and subsequent place in history.
Likewise in Derry, the area synonymous with the Northern Island conflict that dominated our news for some thirty years at the end of the last century. The Museum of Free Derry which explains the very beginning of the troubles between 1968 and 1972, we too will be guided around whilst exploring this fascinating city.
This holiday is sure to leave you with stories that you will be re-telling for a lifetime.
