My Bulgaria Skiing Holiday
A memoir by Max Jackson
Prologue
The day before the holiday, I managed to pack my clothes and anything I wanted to take with
me. I’ve enjoyed going on holidays with the group Im going with. And so the big day begins
tomorrow.
Chapter 1 – Travelling Day
I woke up around 3:30 am and was ready to go. Once I got to the airport, I met up with Ian
again and I met Lucas and Chris for the first time. Got there safely and arrived at the hotel
Im staying at 2 hours later. Dinner was really nice especially for being a buffet. Look forward
to a full day tomorrow.
Chapter 2 – First day of skiing
After I had breakfast, I went to try on my ski gear. Thankfully it all fitted and after lunch,
skiing began. I had the hang of it still while also following the professionals instructions. Then
I went back to the hotel and chilled, had dinner and all in all another great day.
Chapter 3 – Double Ski Day
Today was another fun day. This time I went skiing twice during the day. Once in the morning
and again in the afternoon. After that I went to the sauna with Ian and Chris. It felt very
refreshing and relaxing.
Chapter 4 – A Bigger Adventure
Today has been an even greater day. Mainly because we went skiing in different areas. It
was even more fun to go up the mountain. Also skied in both the morning and afternoon.
Chapter 5 – A Day Off Skiing
Another day and it was a relaxing day. We had a break from skiing and this time went for a
day out to explore Bulgaria a little more. There was some nice culture and I brought myself a
necklace with a blue owl on it.
Chapter 6 – Back To Skiing
During todays skiing, it was fun by taking it to the next level. Also had lunch in a different
area than usual which was nice for a change.
Chapter 7 – Last Day Of Skiing
Today was not just any day but rather a special day. That is because it was the last full day
of skiing. We went up the mountain again. I did very well despite losing control at one point
when going up the slope. But thankfully I was okay. At the end, I thanked the instructor
Constantine and I got my certificate.
Epilogue
Well the holiday is now over. After breakfast, I packed up all my stuff. Thankfully, Chris
helped me out with my clothes bag. Went to the airport and hopped on the plane. Then I
found Mum and got home safely.
I went there and back again.
